NARS 'Deborah' Lipstick, MAC 'Whirl Lip Liner, Illamasqua Precision Brow Gel & Angled Brush
Just an update on a few recent loves that I've added to my life. I've gone a bit mad with makeup over the last few weeks - I've bought my first ever MAC brush (I know.. what have I been doing) and updated my makeup after throwing out a load of disgustingly old stuff. I'm blaming Instagram - I'm always on Pinterest for outfit inspo but Instagram is my go-to for looking at makeup queeens. I'm 23, I wanna be able to do eyeliner totally fudging it up okay. Ha.
There's only one real newbie here. The NARS Lipstick I got at Christmas and I've mainly put it in there because it's just generally a dreamy consistency. The colour isn't something I can pull off every day, but I just love it because of how thick and creamy it is. Plus it's really matte - I'm not a shimmery lip sort of gal. MAC Whirl is up there too as I've been using that loads over the last couple of weeks (this is also because I lost my MAC Spice lip liner.. HUFFF). Yeah, I don't suddenly get those big Kylie Jenner lips when I whack it on, but it's a nice colour. Someone on my Instagram did mention that they find it hard to match it with eyeshadow though and I totally agree - any advice?! Last on there is the new stuff - the Illamasqua Brow Gel and brush. I'm assuming this is similar to the Anastasia stuff.. I've never tried that one, but I find this Illamasqua one is loverrrly! The brush makes the world of difference - how did I ever manage with just little brushes I got with an old set?!
